Hey guys as you know here at letpads we are always keeping in touch with our students to find out what the latest craze is. And it seems lots of students are scouring the city’s vast charity shops to bag some awesome vintage designer clothes to then resell online.
Once online you have a worldwide audience to market your well chosen garments to. Students have told us they go on a Monday morning once the stocks have been refilled to check out what they can find. You will be amazed to see what you can find if you spend some time looking around.
Remember one persons rubbish is another’s fortune. This could well be a sure fire way to make some easy money, yeah baby. Don’t forget you don’t just have to restrict yourself to Preston. Have a look when you visit back home or look around the places just outside of Preston.
Students told us they can market there items on lots of different websites such as Asos marketplace amongst others such as Ebay etc. One student told us they found a Louis Vuitton jacket that had a button missing and they found an almost matching button for it at Preston flag market. They then sold it online for over £100. Wow that seems like easy money to me?
Guys get on this quick before you miss the boat as we are sure the word will spread soon especially with the power of social media. There is a real buzz about this with students up and around the country so pull your socks up and get on it quick, you have been warned. Hey you may even be able to pay your next semesters rent before you even get your loan. That would be a top result.
There is also the smartphone app depop which gives students access to thousands of vintage pieces through their phones. We heard of one student that earned over £12k last year just by doing exactly what we have just told you above.
This really gives a great opportunity for students in Preston and sparks a real entrepreneurial spirit that can start something off for anyone. It’s what makes this country great and gives every student control to a real first hand experience of making their own money from there own efforts.
Students can even use Facebook through a page called wavey garms which sells lots of different pieces. Check it out this could really be the start of something special.
Students from up and down the country are getting involved in this. But for students studying at uclan this could well be an untouched opportunity. So get rummaging and get yourselves out there. You have been warned!
