This week a free public exhibition at the University of Central Lancashire has opened to the public. This is the first student exhibition to open since the pandemic began, and it will showcase the work of more than 100 creative postgraduate students.

The MA Degree Show will be displayed across 3 buildings and the exhibition will display work from a range of creative MA students including:

  • animation
  • ceramics
  • children’s book illustration
  • design
  • fashion and lifestyle brand studies
  • fashion and lifestyle promotion
  • fashion design
  • fine art
  • games design
  • graphic design
  • interior design
  • photography
  • product design
  • surface pattern and textiles.

With no bookings required, the MA Degree Show is open weekdays from 10.00am until 5.00pm, and this will run until Tuesday, October 5. You can find the exhibited work across the Media Factory, Hanover and Victoria Buildings.

Speaking about the exhibition, Jane Anthony, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries, said:

“We are delighted to open our doors to the general public once again and showcase our outstanding student talent.Our creative discipline students had to adapt to new ways of working during the pandemic and proved to be resilient and resourceful when they needed to be.To be able to share their creations at the end of it all is a just reward and a great way to end their master’s journey.”
