Now you have your A-Level results you may have decided to look into university places and options, including those you hadn’t considered previously. And it’s not too late to secure your place at The University of Central Lancashire, where the clearing and adjustment process is now open.

What is clearing?

Clearing is a process that begins after results day to match the right students with the right University courses. This includes students who didn’t quite make the grade for their initial university selections, as well as those who didn’t consider university initially.

You will be eligible for Clearing if:

  • Your grades are not as expected to meet your conditional offers
  • You don’t have any university offers or have only just decided to go to university
  • You applied via UCAS after 30 June

Clearing is open until the 19 October.

What is adjustment?

Adjustment allows students to reconsider where and what to study. For example, students who have had a conditional choice accepted can swap their place on a course for another that they might prefer.
