Top tips for end of term packing

So, how can you make sure that your end of term packing doesn’t end in disaster? Well, these are our tips to help make your packing process a little bit easier:

  • Get your boxes early- The earlier you get your boxes, the earlier you can start to pack. And even if you are the type of person that leaves things till last minute, the boxes will be a daily reminder of your upcoming need to pack.
  • Tackle one room at a time- Using one box for each room is a good way to make the packing process more manageable. Packing away items from one room at a time, means that you will be less likely to forget something you need, and you can also begin to pack a little bit at a time.
  • Keep things you need accessible- on the other hand, some students can be packed up a few weeks early. This means you’ll be living out of the boxes, and it can mean that some of the items you need on a daily basis, could be left behind. If you still want to be packed up early, leave your daily necessities in an accessible place, so you don’t have to rummage through your boxes, and potentially lose some of your belongings.
