Well now once again we have been shown that’s it not just us who love uclan and Preston. It’s each and every one of you aswell. Infact the university of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) has recently been named one of the top modern universities in the north west in a league table that is SOLELY driven by student opinion. Yes the proof is in the pudding, you may say. But that really is the case here. How much better of an opinion can you get, but from that of the actual students themselves.
The 2015 whatuni student choice awards league table has given UCLAN a score of 4.1 out of a possible 5. That awesome score makes the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) the second top modern university in the north west overall. OMG we literally have the best university going woop woop
The reviews are taken from thousands of students submitted and published on whatuni.com and cover many different categories as you may expect. The competition is seriously tough as the universities in the United Kingdom (UK) are some of the very best in the world. Hence the reason why UCLAN is also ever so popular with foreign students aswell as those in the UK. But even with so much competition UCLAN still came out at the top of the tables. Testament to the sheer hard work of the thousands of people that make it so successful.
One student wrote ‘UCLAN was the best decision of my life. The lecturers and tutors are really passionate about what they do, and if you have any problems or queries they are really understanding and helpful’.
We at Letpads asked some of our students to comment on there experiences at UCLAN and they commented ‘there are lots of course subjects to choose and all the staff are so helpful. The campus is really nice and modern. Being in a really nice modern house just makes it all complete’.
It’s not just from one league table that UCLAN is doing great though. It’s across the board. As the complete university guide 2016 results were recently released and it showed that UCLAN was 4th out of 67 in the modern university grouping nationally for academic services spend and 10th in the same group for student staff ratio. It also came 6th in the subject category of Librarianship and information management and in the top 20 nationally for Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering.

It’s great to know it’s not just us at letpads that are so passionate about life and study at UCLAN.
